A glorious summer (when it’s not raining!) and I’m busy here in Bath writing my new book, Time After Time. It’s a book I’ve wanted to write for many years and am so happy I have the chance to do it. It will be a one off novel this time, a change from my usual series of books and will be out next summer. I’ll blog more about it later on.
Other book news is that Catwalk Queen, the 3rd book of Million Dollar Mates is out on July 7th and I’ll be going out on a book tour for a week. Starting in Bristol (Redland Green school and Badminton Girls school, on Monday), London, Tuesday (Queen Elizabeth’s in Barnet) then onto Dr Challoner’s High school in Little Chalfont.
Wednesday will be King Arthur’s community school in Wincanton then onto Ansford School in Castle Cary, Thursday Huish Episcopi school in Langport and Courtfields Community school in the afternoon and finishing at Melksham Oak school in Melksham.
I always love these weeks because I get a chance to meet so many readers. After Melksham, it’s home for the weekend, yay, when friends come down (or across) from London to see us.
Golden Girl, the 4th book in the series will be out spring 2012. After that, I might do some more in the Million Dollar Mates series or I might do something new. I’m not sure yet and am just focusing on Time After Time.
Apart from the books, I’ve had a glorious week in Kalkan in Turkey (see pic) which was a great place to go and chill out. I took loads of books with me to read but spent most of my time just staring out at the lovely views there. It was a good chance to recharge the batteries before getting back to the writing and of course, I can’t leave my three cats for too long or they’d all pack up and go on a holiday of their own!
Bye for now
