It’s 2012!

Happy New Year. I love this time of year and the feeling of a new start. A time to re-access where I’ve been and where I want to go next. Of course I make all the usual resolutions to get fit and so on and I do keep them up for a good part of the year. My favourite exercise is always to do long walks in some of the stunning countryside around here but I may join the gym too for days that it is too wet.
We had a very jolly Christmas that seemed to go in different stages. Wales to see my husband’s mum, up north to see my side of the family – there are twenty of us when we’re all together and back home to spend time with friends. New Year’s Eve was spent with a bunch of us in a village outside Bath where my husband provided the music. He and some other musicians have got a band together called the Elderly Brothers. And very good they were too. On the stroke of midnight, everyone gathered outside on the village green, made a circle and sang Auld Lang Syne.
And now it’s back to work. I have started writing the fifth book in the Million Dollar Mates series. The title is undecided as yet but I will come up with one soon. The fourth book in the series, Golden Girl will be out in March and a special one off novel out later in the year in August. The title of that is also undecided as yet but we will have to decide soon so that the designers can work on a cover! I’ll post it on my facebook page as soon as it’s final.
I’m feeling very positive about 2012. I hope you are too and that you have a healthy and happy one.
