Wow, times flies. I’ve had a busy couple of months traveling in July on a book tour for the release of Catwalk Queen which was out on the 7th. It’s book three in the series and I was glad to see that Shout magazine were giving away a copy of the first book, Million Dollar Mates with their July magazine for anyone who missed it. There was also a fab full page ad for the three books that are out now: Million Dollar Mates, Paparazzi Princess and Catwalk Queen.
On the tour, we traveled mainly in the South West and London visiting loads of schools and met loads of readers and hopefully made some new ones. (see photo from a school in Somerset.) I really enjoyed meeting everyone and was very impressed by the efforts some of the librarians had made in preparation. At the Huish Episcopi school in Langport, there was a posse of pupils waiting in the car park for my arrival then they escorted me inside to such a warm welcome. I felt like Beyonce with an entourage! After that it was back to work and I’ve started writing a new book. It will be out next year in the summer and is a one off novel called Time After Time. It’s a little bit different from my usual books and looks at the question of soul-mates – and whether love is predestined or a matter of choice. I don’t want to write too much about it until I’ve finished it but I hope my readers will like it. I’m certainly enjoying writing it.
The other thing I’ve been doing is gardening. Something I’ve never really done before but I’m getting into and have even enrolled to do a course in garden design in the autumn. I love doing classes and learning something new and have tried loads over the years – mainly art or writing classes though.
Bye for now,
